This policy explains what personal information ThreadSpell collects, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number, and email (optional).
- Delivery details: the addresses you enter or save.
- Orders: the items, custom messages, prices, payment status and order history.
- Offers: the prices you offer on products.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Online payments are handled by Razorpay under their own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To make and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To show you your orders and saved addresses.
- To process payments and refunds.
Who we share it with
- Courier partners: your name, mobile number and address, to deliver your parcel.
- Razorpay: the order amount and your name, mobile number and email, to take the payment.
- Messaging service: order details are sent to our own WhatsApp through a messaging service so we know about new orders.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising by others.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a cookie only to keep you logged in. Your cart is saved in your own browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we protect it
Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form that nobody can read, not even us. Only the shop owner can see customer and order details.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and order details while your account is active and as long as needed for accounts and tax records.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information. Message us on Instagram or email us, mentioning your registered mobile number, and we will reply within 7 days. Some order records may need to be kept for legal reasons.
